Caldwell Parish is home to several schools, each striving to provide the best education for its students. Offering a variety of choices from public schools to private schools, our region is home to Caldwell Parish High School, Caldwell Parish Junior High School, Columbia Elementary, Union Central Elementary, Grayson Elementary, Caldwell Pre-K, Kelly Early Childhood Center, and Old Bethel Christian Academy.

Caldwell Parish High School offers programs and classes to prepare its students for the workforce such as: welding, carpentry, entrepreneurship, agritechnology, customer service, Adobe Creative Suite, Emergency Medical Responder (EMR), Certified Clinical Medical Assistant, Serv-Safe Food Handler, business of retail, Ducks Unlimited Ecology & Conservation, and Microsoft Office Word & Excel.

Once graduated or ready to dive into the workforce, Caldwell Parish encourages its residents to either seek further education from the many universities within close proximity or for them to explore job programs such as Louisiana FastStart and Incumbent Workforce Training Program.

College/University

The Northeast region is home to universities that not only provide a broad curriculum, but research institutions that are the catalyst for business start-ups and expansions. The University of Louisiana at Monroe (ULM) and Louisiana Tech University (LTU) have an enrollment of nearly 20,000 students in such degree programs as business, pharmacy, chemistry, and nursing as well as research in the areas of micro manufacturing, biomedical engineering, pharmacy and more. Grambling University (GSU) has strong connections to Morehouse Parish with an active alumni association which sponsors scholarships to the historic university in west Lincoln Parish. These educational facilities are within a reasonable commute with ULM being about a 25 minute drive.
